Woke up from 15 hours of sleep to rush to prep for Torrance High’s Japan Relief Fundraiser. I folded all of the “To Japan, With Love” shirts I had left, put them in boxes, showered, and went to Sean’s house to pick him up.
When we got to Torrance High, we accidentally pulled up into the swim team’s car wash in front of the school. I didn’t want to just ask them where the Japan Relief fundraiser was so I just got my car washed for $15 out of an accident and guilt. At this point I realized i left my wallet and driver’s license at home -_-
When we found the right parking lot where the Relief fundraiser was, everything was empty. But thing’s got started really quickly right after. When Lisa came to help at the “To Japan, With Love” shirt booth, I went back home to get my wallet. When I went home, I accidentally left my phone there too, but got my wallet -_-
Went back to Torrance High, sold shirts. Ran out of smalls and mediums pretty quickly, but got rid of a lot of larges and xls. We made $1325 today! =DMark and Erickson were bored to death sitting with us the whole time. Nomnom trucks’ lines were too long; Sean and I timed the last guy in line, and it took him like an hour and 15 minutes to get food. Got Coolhaul icecream. Took a picture with Hello Kitty. Sold more shirts. Went home early since both Nomnom trucks and the Coolhaus truck was gone, so there was no more traffic by the shirt booth.
Then later I went to Arlington to FINALLY make the second donation of Acoustic Shuffle’s money. Haruka, Derrell, Jenny, and I donated $400 to nTyme. People were wondering why we were there for the end of their rehearsal haha.
That’s about it for today.
